Landon Donovan had a little kind-hearted fun with U.S. Soccer's biggest story over the weekend on Twitter this morning.
Borussia Dortmund's 17-year-old American wunderkind Christian Pulisic scored his first career Bundesliga goal on Sunday in the club's 3-0 victory over Hamburger SV.
The goal inspired U.S. Soccer and LA Galaxy legend to tweet, " At 17 years old, [Pulisic] already has more all-time @Bundesliga_EN goals (1) than me and @TaylorTwellman combined." Donovan spent several seasons with German club Bayer Leverkusen early in his career while Twellman played with TSV 1860 München II before moving to the New England Revolution.
