Los Angeles was included in the 23 host cities from Canada, Mexico, and the United States included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup joint bid.
The City of Angels is among the 23 Candidate Host Cities that will be included in the Bid Book that will be presented to FIFA later this year. If the bid is selected by FIFA, the United Bid Committee will trim the number of host cities to 16.
In addition to the host candidate cities, the United Bid announced that they have secured more than 150 training facilities including MLS and Liga MX stadiums including others.
