United controlled the contest from the opening whistle and needed just 18 minutes to take the lead when an Ajax defender deflected a Pogba effort into the back of the Dutch side’s net.
Manchester doubled their lead three minutes into the second half when Mkhitaryan flicked in a Chris Smalling corner to double the lead. The goal was Mkhitaryan's sixth strike in eight games during United's title-winning Europa League campaign.
