The Mexican Football Federation estimates that Giovani dos Santos will be out for three weeks after his muscle injury against Seattle Sounders FC cost him his place in the CONCACAF Cup match with the United States.
In a release issued on Tuesday evening, the FMF stated that Dos Santos suffered a right adductor muscle injury during the LA Galaxy's 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC and will need to recover for three weeks. The Galaxy have a bye week this week and do not play again until Oct. 18 but if the Mexican report is correct, he could be out until the final match of the season against Sporting Kansas City.
