CARSON, Calif. -- New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles tied LA Galaxy president Chris Klein's Major League Soccer record for most consecutive appearances on Sunday.

Robles pulled even of Klein's mark of 141 straight games played during Sunday's 2-1 Red Bulls victory over Atlanta United. The New York 'keeper surpassed Klein's mark of most consecutive league starts a year ago.

Klein's record spanned five seasons during his time with Kansas City Wizards, Real Salt Lake, and the Galaxy.
