Robbie Keane became the first LA Galaxy player to score double-digit goals in five consecutive seasons with his brace against Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday.
Keane scored twice for Los Angeles in their 4-2 defeat to Seattle at StubHub Center to bring his goal tally to 10 goals this season despite playing in just 16 matches due to international duty and injury. The 34-year-old has now notched 10+ goals every season since his first full season with the club back in 2012.
Carlos Ruiz's three consecutive double-digit goal seasons from 2002-2004 is the next longest streak. San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski has the longest active streak with seven consecutive seasons with 10+ goals.
