David Beckham auditioned for a role in the latest Star Wars flick? Well, not exactly.
The LA Galaxy legend is seemingly the hottest person on the planet right now after being named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive earlier this month. With all that success has come a bit of friendly banter as Saturday Night Live spoofed the former Galaxy midfielder in a faux screen test reel skit ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In the scene, SNL cast member Taran Killam plays Becks interacting with Star Wars' newest droid character BB-8.
This isn't the first time that Beckham has been associated with the Star Wars franchise as the English soccer legend appeared as Han Solo in an Adidas ad during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
