Staff Sergeant Arno Youssefian joined the U.S military in 2000 and served in the United States Air Force for multiple years with a two year overseas assignment to Japan.
He assisted in international affairs, smooth transition of military personnel and served as a member of the emergency response team during the September 11th attack while in Japan. Youssefian then joined the U.S Marine Corps in 2008 and has been serving in the Marine Corps since.
Youssefian was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in September 2011. While in Afghanistan, he assisted in convoy operations, casualty evacuations, and redeployment. He earned multiple awards for his role in operation New Dawn. Staff Sergeant Youssefian is currently stationed as a 2nd tour recruiter in Los Angeles and has been happily married to his wife, Lily, for 7 years.
In addition to his military achievements, he also received recognition for his support and service to the FBI Mission in July 2021. He is a proud Armenian American who has been volunteering his time on and off duty trying to make difference not only for his beloved country but also for his community.
Some of his awards include the National Defense Service Medal, NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan, and the Global war on Terrorism service medal.
