Tonight’s Hero of the Match presented by Pirnia Law in honor of Central American Heritage Night, from the United States Navy Petty Officer, First Class Natalie Rodriguez.
Petty Officer, First Class Rodriguez was born and raised in Los Angeles and enlisted in the navy in 2014. Her first duty station was in Japan and she was then on deployment from 2014 to 2018 and was able to travel all over the world including Asia, Australia, and Guam. For the past four years she has been serving as a recruiter for Navy Talent Acquistion Group Pacific.
Growing up, she was always involved in soccer and played in high school as a forward for Palmdale High. Her family is from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and her favorite dance style is Punta. She was raised on hondureña enchiladas and baleadas. She is extremely proud of her culture and is proud to be serving in the U.S. Navy.
Some of her awards include the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal and the Recruiting Station of the Year in 2021.
