The Hero of the Match presented by Pirnia Law for May 6 is United States Space Force Sergeant Lee Harder.
Sergeant Harder enlisted in the Air Force in 2016 out of Greenville, North Carolina. He has held varies positions in the military from Base Honor Guard, Unit Fitness Program Manager and Knowledge Operations Manager.
He currently serves as a product designer and non-commissioned officer in charge of web development, atlas corps at the Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. Harder oversees the research and design of mission related applications and conducts in depth operator testing and usability studies.
Harder deployed to an undisclosed location in the Middle East as part of Inherent Resolve in 2020. He transferred to the United States Space Force while deployed in February 2021.
Some of his awards include the Air and Space Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.
