Top eight puppy pitch invaders in soccer history in honor of National Puppy Day

Social media is abuzz in honor of #NationalPuppyDay today, and in honor of the momentous holiday, I compiled my list of top dog pitch invaders in world soccer history.

No truth to the rumor that the dogs are auditioning for the Turkish remake of "Air Bud: World Pup."

Unlike most pitch invaders, this good boy decided to take a calm stroll on the pitch in Brazil. Get him a treat!

After a ruff morning, this lab just wanted a little belly rub on the soccer pitch. 

The World Cup Pup

This puppy got a chance to play at the highest level when he invaded the pitch during the 1962 World Cup

SUNNY AND THE GALAXY! 

World-Famous pup, Sunny the Sunshine Doodle, had a chance to train with the LA Galaxy last year.  The results were pawstively amazing.
