CARSON, Calif. – The U.S. National Team is returning to Utah.
Just days before the start of the latest round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, the USMNT will host Venezuela in a friendly on June 3 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The match will takes place five days before the United States faces Trinidad and Tobago will kick off at 7 pm PT time.
“Salt Lake City has always been a fantastic host for the National Team,” U.S. MNT head coach Bruce Arena said in a statement. “When you combine the elements of the fan support, the stadium and the altitude, it’s a perfect match as we prepare for the critical World Cup Qualifiers against Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico.”
The USMNT are a perfect 3-0-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium all time.
