Gyasi Zardes has joined up with the U.S. National Team this week ahead of their pair of September friendlies, and is already scoring goals in training.
Or is he?
There was a minor training controversy at U.S. National Team training on Monday after Gyasi Zardes appeared to score a goal on U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard during the team's training session ahead of their Sept. 4 match with Peru in Washington, D.C. Following the Peru friendly, the U.S. will take on Brazil on Sept. 8 at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
USSoccer.com spoke to Zardes and Howard to get their take about the call in the video above.
