HARRISON, N.J. – The LA Galaxy put a dubious record to bed on Sunday.
The Galaxy earned their first road win on the East Coast since the 2013 campaign on Sunday when they defeated New York Red Bulls, 3-1. The victory was Los Angeles’ first win in the Eastern Time Zone since a win over the Philadelphia Union in May 2013.
Los Angeles also ended a streak of poor showings at Red Bull Arena, earning their first win at the venue since the 2011 MLS Playoffs.
