CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena told reporters on Tuesday that injured players Dan Kennedy, Giovani dos Santos, Ashley Cole, and Alan Gordon are "progressing" ahead of this weekend's clash with the San Jose Earthquakes.
Following training on Tuesday, Arena informed the media that all four players are “progressing” ahead Saturday’s game against San Jose. Kennedy remains out with a partial groin tear, but Dos Santos and Gordon were both present for training during the portion open for media availability.
Regarding Dos Santos, Arena stated that his status remains in question and will be evaluated throughout the week.
Arena was more optimistic about Cole availability after the Englishman missed out on last week's match in Colorado with "slight tightness. " The Galaxy boss told reporters that the 35-year-old "should be fine" for Saturday's match against San Jose.
