CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos is continuing to make strides forward from injury and may be an option for the LA Galaxy this weekend against the Portland Timbers.
Dos Santos has been full training for more than a week now after suffering a left leg injury during the Galaxy's season opener against D.C. United on March 6.
After not traveling to last week's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena says that the 26-year-old Mexican international is moving forward and could be available for Sunday's clash with the reigning MLS Cup champions.
"We'll see as we get into the week," said Arena.
