CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy II striker Efrain Alvarez has been named to the Mexican Under-17 squad for the team’s training camp next week.
Alvarez is among the list of 26 players named to the week-long training camp by Mexico U-18 head coach Marco Antonio Ruiz. The teenage striker is the only non-domestic player named to the training camp.
The group will convene on Monday and train before the camp culminates with an intra-squad scrimmage on Thursday at the Mexican National Team’s training ground in Mexico City.
